Sunday School begins at 9:45 every Sunday morning following the Contemporary Worship Service and concludes at 10:45 just before the Traditional Worship Service, which begins at 11:00. Individual small groups meet at various locations around the campus focused on fellowship and centered on a Bible-based curriculum. At SCM, we enjoy gathering together to encourage one another in our life journey.
Children & Youth
- NURSERY – Located in the Fellowship Hall in the end of the Main Building – The nursery is for children from birth to three years old. Since this is the first contact with the church, we try to make them happy and content, so they will want to come back. Their mothers can attend their class and know they are safe and cared for.
- CHILDREN – Located upstairs in the Main Building – Trackers is a program designed to develop the basics of Christianity in our children ages 4 though 5th grade, instilling in them a knowledge of where truth is found, examples of Biblical “Trackers of Truth,” and a desire to seek truth for themselves. They will go through the Old Testament where Jesus was present but concealed and New Testament where Jesus was revealed. They will also learn about a life of discipleship.
- YOUTH – Located upstairs in the Main Building – Our curriculum is scripturally based as we are progressing through each book of the bible and sharing the timeless “lessons learned” of various biblical characters. Above all, we fellowship together, support one another, allow open questions and discussions which only build our faith in Jesus Christ. We are His people and we desire to participate in small, but meaningful acts of kindness and missions throughout the year as we seek to offer the message of Faith, Hope and Love.
Young Adults
- YOUNG ADULT CLASS – Located in the Family Life Center – The young adult Sunday school class at Spring City Methodist is made up of a wide range of ages and stages, from recent college grads to married couples with families. We enjoy studying contemporary subjects, authors, and video series that challenge us to dig deeper into our faith as we continue to build relationships and learn with one another.
Adults
Each adult Sunday School Class is a unique group of people with a commonality of faith/life interest. Beyond Sunday School each class is directly involved in many parts of the total church program.
- CELEBRATION CLASS – Located in the Family Life Center – An adult contemporary class of 15 – 20 couples and singles of all ages. Studies are Bible-based using modern day authors and current day issues. Open discussion is encouraged, and new members and visitors are warmly welcomed.

Cook, this class of married and widowed men, ages 60 and over, study the Gospel with life changing clarity applying its lessons in spiritual growth.
